While the brand has explored a range of new, redesigned, and reintroduced watches this year, it hasn’t disappointed with this release either, adding fresh energy to its staple Aquaracer diving watches. As with last year, the updates to the line come with a 43mm diameter and are powered by the replica TAG Heuer Calibre 5 movement, also known as the ETA 2824-02 movement. It incorporates elements from the blue and red models but features tan details that work beautifully against the black case, dial, and bezel. The tan strap with a black deployant clasp complements the overall design. The dial mirrors the blue and red models but adds a yellow seconds hand that contrasts with the black ceramic and matches the replica TAG Heuer logo and Aquaracer branding.
As mentioned previously, while these watches make great entry-level desk divers, their specifications, including a 300-meter water resistance rating and a unidirectional rotating bezel for timing events, allow them to be considered real dive watches. However, their vibrant colors (like blue) might not be practical in low visibility or deep diving conditions, and the strap, though excellent for everyday wear, may not be ideal for harsh diving environments, lacking an easy way to extend over a wetsuit.
